چکیده

Abstract This study shows the effectiveness of a novel electrocoagulation process using magnetically attracted iron scrap anodes for phosphate removal from aqueous solution. The effect contact time, reaction temperature, dose scrap, initial concentration, applied voltage, pH, magnetic force, and species competing anions on efficiency products has been investigated. techniques XRD, XPS, VSM were used to characterize elemental composition types in order clarify interaction between anode ions. was fitted by pseudo first-order kinetic model. results showed that electrodissoluted under an potential reacted with into Fe-hydroxo-phosphate complexes. work suggested had become promising technique precipitation.

Polysulfone/Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Ultrafltration Membrane for Adsorptive Removal of Phosphate from Aqueous Solution

Excessive nutrient contents in water bodies renders eutrophication and causes undesired structural changes to the environment. One of the most straightforward strategies to address eutrophication issue is through the removal of nutrients such as phosphate ions from the water sources. A combination of membrane fltration and adsorption process is an attractive alternative...
